My mom and I planned, styled, and executed a “bohemian summer” bridal shower. We paired bright, fun pinks with succulents from Sanpedrocactus and snapdragon flowers.

I designed the invitations and did calligraphy for the envelopes. I painted a watercolor background and did calligraphy for the text instead of using a font. I printed separate little tags with the bride’s registry info and we tied them to the invitations with gray and white baker’s twine. These slid inside charcoal gray envelopes, with the return address calligraphy printed on the flaps.

Each guest had their name written on a little flag, which stuck inside their succulent favor. We placed these around the tables outside so they doubled as centerpieces.

We also styled the dessert table. I created little pink flags and chalkboard A-frames letting guests know what the treats were.
